Bojana Jovanovski of Serbia stopped the fine run of 15-year-old wild card Sabina Sharipova in the semifinals of the NECC ITF women’s tennis tournament on Friday.

The results: Singles (Semifinals): Rika Fujiwara (Jpn) bt Nina Bratchikova (Rus) 6-2, 6-2; Bojana Jovanovski (Srb) bt Sabina Sharipova (Uzb) 6-4, 6-1. Doubles (Final): Nicole Clerico (Ita) & Anastasiya Vasylyeva (Ukr) bt Nina Bratchikova (Rus) & Ksenia Palkina (Kgz) 6-4, 3-6, 13-11.
