Blue Butterfly

image
In a field full of yellow flowers,

Small beauties were flying.

In open for hours and hours,

There was no hiding.

In a field full of yellow flowers,

Small beauties were flying.

In open for hours and hours,

There was no hiding.

They all were filled with beatitude,

But still so ordinary.

And then it came with an attitude,

Like an enchanted fairy.

So luscious and shimmering,

In the morning rays.

Everything else is glimmering,

By it's gorgeous ways!

It was so different,

A rose among thorns!

But it was apparent,

As being proud it shone!

What is in it's head?

How can it fly so high?

Between the yellow and red,

There it was, The Blue Butterfly!

It went up,

It went Down.

Without a glum,

Or a frown.

It's personality is gnomic,

Is it a boon or a bain?

It itself is a tonic,

For those who are in pain.

Have flowers as friends,

And bees as family!

But this not where it ends,

This is not vanity.

It was so different,

A rose among thorns!

But it was apparent,

As being proud it shone!

What is in it's head?

How can it fly so high?

Between the yellow and red,

There it was, The Blue Butterfly! ...
